Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at THE GURU FINE INDIAN CUISINE (2289833 Ontario Inc.).

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Establish work schedules
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment
  • Permanent position
  • 35 hours per week
  • English language
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, standing for extended periods, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
