The role of the Food Service Supervisor at Lethbridge Chicken Foods Inc involves overseeing the daily operations of food preparation and service. This position is essential in ensuring that our culinary team meets high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Work Schedule Management: Develop and implement strategies to ensure work schedules are met effectively.
- Staff Supervision: Lead and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
- Training and Development: Provide training to staff on their job responsibilities, as well as sanitation and safety protocols.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all food and service adhere to established quality control standards.
- Tray Assembly Oversight: Supervise and verify the correct assembly of food trays.
- Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and organize supplies in appropriate storage areas including refrigerators and cupboards.
The position requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with the expectation of standing for extended periods. Candidates should be prepared for physical activities such as bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Personal AttributesIdeal candidates will demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
Experience RequirementsApplicants should have between 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry. This is a permanent position with a commitment of 35 hours per week.
