About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Native Security Specialist to build and scale our application protection capabilities in the backend. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing scalable and resilient code that meets the rapidly increasing scale requirements of our customer deployments and end users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement backend command and control capabilities that actively secure cloud native apps, integrated with various cloud provider services.
  • Develop well-reasoned architectural choices to meet stability and performance requirements, while being agile.
  • Document and communicate design decisions with the broader team to support a remote, asynchronous work culture.
  • Function independently, making technical choices in the presence of unknowns.
  • Take an active interest in understanding customer problems while building features in an iterative manner.
Requirements
  • Advanced to expert level experience with Kubernetes and at least one well-known cloud platform.
  • Good understanding of networking layers L3-L7+.
  • Experience building integrations with various cloud provider APIs.
  • Knowledge of Operating Systems/Network Security fundamentals is preferred.
  • Experience with Golang/C++, REST/GRPC/GraphQL, WebAssembly is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as part of a remote team.
  • D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or similar equivalent industry experience is preferred.
