About the Role:

Holt Renfrew & Co. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth in our luxury retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Customer Service: Sell the entire store and wardrobe to customers, develop long-term customer relationships, and cultivate new customers.
  2. Product Knowledge: Keep abreast of fashion and style trends, and translate this information into advice for clients.
  3. Customer Focus: Focus on the customer – who they are, what they like/dislike, determine needs and preferences, etc.
  4. Product Demonstration: Demonstrate product and style expertise, specifically how it will help satisfy the customer's needs.
  5. Store Operations: Perform floor recovery, visual merchandising, price change, and related sales support tasks.
  6. Compliance: Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements, and ensure compliance with privacy policies, regulations, and cyber security measures.

Requirements:

  1. Proven Sales Track Record: Proven ability to exceed sales targets.
  2. Knowledge and Skills: Knowledgeable of wardrobing and styling techniques, expertise in establishing customer relationships, and skilled at the emotional aspects of a sale.
  3. Collaboration and Entrepreneurship: Highly collaborative, working with and through others in a team-oriented environment, and entrepreneurial, competitive, self-confident, and self-motivated.
  4. Adaptability and Flexibility: Able to work in a fast-paced environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking with minimal supervision, and able to work a flexible work schedule based on the needs of the customer.
  5. Experience and Qualifications: Minimum of three or more years experience in a commission sales environment, and prior retail sales experience in a luxury environment preferred.
