Senior Financial Planning Analyst

CCH Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Planning Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting financial data to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting and closing activities, including processing journal entries and accrual transactions.
  • Provide insightful financial analytic support for Research & Learning business lines, including participating in the annual budgeting process and completing analysis of monthly results.
  • Drive continuous process improvements and best practices to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the planning and reporting processes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 5+ years of financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting experience with business unit and/or corporate experience.
  • Excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with a demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Prior experience with contribution margin and expenses.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and perform job responsibilities accurately.
  • Ability to organize and analyze large volumes of data, perform data reconciliations, and summarize for executive review.
  • Excellent computer skills, including a high degree of demonstrated Excel expertise and experience with SAP and Blackline.
