Project Scheduler Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Scheduler to join our team at Northern Employment Solutions Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing project baselines, monitoring and reporting project performance, and ensuring that all project deliverables are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and manage project baselines, including scope, cost, and schedule.
  • Monitor and report project performance, including tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement project scheduling processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure that project deliverables are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant schedule-related documents and identify scheduling priorities for respective project portfolios.
Requirements:
  • 10 years' experience in project scheduling in the mining industry.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking with strong numerical ability, good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.).
  • Experience with SAP and Primavera 6.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, finance, or a combination of work and education.
