About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Catering Server to join our team at SMU Dining Services. As a Catering Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized food service area
  • Replenish food and beverage products as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service and anticipate guests' needs
  • Adhere to all alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines
  • Break down and clean/sanitize food service areas, workstations, and equipment
  • Maintain a positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, and co-workers
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a server or in a food service role is preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of food safety principles and procedures
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
