We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team at Elite Canada Security Inc.
Job SummaryThe Security Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our security team, ensuring the smooth execution of security protocols, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and Repair: Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely repairs and maintenance of security equipment and facilities.
- Client Support: Provide exceptional support to clients with special needs, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
- Emergency Response: Serve as the primary point of contact for emergency situations, responding promptly and effectively to ensure the well-being of all parties involved.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with other work units and departments to ensure seamless coordination of activities and effective communication.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, performing routine checks and maintenance as needed.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit progress reports, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
- Supply Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as required, ensuring timely delivery and effective inventory management.
- Training and Development: Train staff and workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective time management.
- Certifications: Possess a valid First Aid Certificate and Security Guard License.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
- Personal Suitability: Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, client focus, efficiency, flexibility, initiative, judgment, organization, reliability, and teamwork.
- Experience: Possess 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, with a permanent position and 32 to 35 hours of work per week.
English is the primary language of communication in this role.
