Brandt is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Parts Person in our Hay River, NWT location, reporting to our Grande Prairie office. This position involves assisting customers in finding required parts, offering pricing, and processing online parts orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Problem-solving and Inventory Management: Utilize strong analytical skills to resolve customer inquiries and manage inventory levels.
- Parts Receipt and Storage: Ensure accurate and efficient receipt, storage, and organization of incoming parts and materials.
- Parts Shipping and Fulfillment: Locate and ship parts and materials to customers and branches in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Branch Support: Provide assistance to branch service technicians as needed to ensure seamless operations.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock orders, and shipping/receiving information.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate parts and warehousing equipment and systems to optimize efficiency.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Physical Demands: Ability to meet the physical demands of the parts/warehousing trade, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Customer Service: Strong customer service skills to provide exceptional support to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in the parts industry is preferred, with a solid foundation of parts/warehousing knowledge and skills.
- Certification: Journeyperson Certification is considered an asset.
