We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Golden Gate Construction Ltd. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the work site.
  • Read Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Erect and Dismantle Structures: Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Mix and Apply Materials: Mix and apply materials such as concrete and asphalt according to project specifications.
  • Assist in Framing and Building: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance work to ensure the work site is safe and efficient.
  • Remove Debris: Remove rubble and other debris from the work site.
  • Operate Equipment: Operate machines and equipment used in construction, such as cranes and forklifts.
  • Direct Traffic: Direct traffic at or near the construction site to ensure safety and efficiency.
Work Environment:

As a Construction Labourer, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work outdoors, at heights, underground, and in confined spaces. You must be able to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.

Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
