Overview: As a key player in our finance team, the Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions and maintaining the integrity of our accounting systems.

Location: Situated in the vibrant heart of Singapore, our establishment is surrounded by the eclectic charm of Chinatown and the dynamic energy of the Central Business District.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough audits of daily income received by the hotel, ensuring all revenue streams, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, and other income, are accurately recognized and recorded in the General Ledger.
  • Review all paid-outs, revenue adjustments, rebates, and allowances for reasonableness, ensuring proper approvals and supporting documentation are in place.
  • Analyze the Night Manager's report daily to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Examine guest accounts, focusing on open paymaster accounts and high balance reports to maintain financial integrity.
  • Provide training sessions for Front Office staff to enhance their understanding of auditing processes.
  • Audit Food & Beverage outlet checks, ensuring voids are explained and approved by the respective Outlet Managers or Assistants.
  • Conduct periodic training for the F&B team to ensure adherence to financial protocols.
  • Ensure daily reconciliation of the Guest Ledger, Advanced Deposit Ledger, and City Ledger with the General Ledger.
  • Maintain compliance with audit standards and account for other departmental revenues, such as telephone and car parking.
