Position: Night Auditor - Front Desk Operations

Are you detail-oriented and enjoy working during the night? Great Gulf is seeking a Night Auditor to join our Front Desk team. This role is essential in ensuring our guests have a seamless experience during their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the check-in and check-out process for guests and condo owners, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience.
  • Reconcile daily revenue, ensuring accuracy in guest folios and accounts receivable.
  • Audit all Front Office transactions and settlements to maintain financial integrity.
  • Verify revenue postings from all departments.
  • Reconcile food and beverage sales with the property management system, making necessary adjustments.
  • Handle Front Desk operations, including managing guest reservations and switchboard communications.
  • Provide information about resort amenities and local attractions.
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate positively with team members to foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Conduct nightly system backups and ensure all financial transactions are balanced.
  • Prepare and distribute daily reports to management.
  • Maintain knowledge of health and safety procedures within the resort.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Hotel/Resort Management is preferred.
  • Experience in Guest Services is advantageous.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Dynamic personality with a positive attitude.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Windows and Excel; familiarity with property management systems is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written; proficiency in another language is a bonus.
  • Self-motivated and organized with a keen eye for detail.
  • Able to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Capable of multitasking and prioritizing effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.

Physical Requirements:

  • Standing at the front desk during overnight shifts.
  • Mobility throughout the resort and various departments.
  • Regular standing and walking during shifts.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 12 hours.
