About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscape Labourer to join our team at S&B Landscaping and Fencing Ltd. As a key member of our grounds maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with various landscaping tasks, including construction, maintenance, and upkeep of our clients' properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Landscape Constructions: Assist our experienced team members with various landscaping projects, including the installation of gardens, patios, and other outdoor features.
  • Weed, Prune, and Trim Trees and Plants: Maintain the health and appearance of our clients' gardens by removing weeds, pruning trees and shrubs, and trimming plants to keep them looking their best.
  • Cut Grass and Maintain Lawns: Ensure our clients' lawns are well-manicured and healthy by cutting grass, edging, and trimming.
  • Rake and Collect Refuse: Remove debris and litter from our clients' properties, keeping them clean and tidy.
  • Remove Litter and Garbage: Regularly inspect our clients' properties for litter and garbage, and remove it promptly.
  • Cart and Spread Topsoil and Other Materials: Assist with the transportation and application of topsoil, mulch, and other materials to our clients' properties.
  • Lay Sod or Seed: Help to establish new lawns by laying sod or seeding.
  • Plant Bulbs, Flowers, Shrubs, and Trees: Assist with the planting of flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance the beauty and appeal of our clients' properties.
  • Apply Fertilizers: Apply fertilizers to our clients' lawns and gardens to promote healthy growth and development.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Regularly inspect and maintain our equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Water and Tend to Plants, Lawns, and/or Gardens: Ensure our clients' plants, lawns, and gardens receive the necessary water and care to thrive.
  • Operate and Maintain Landscape Maintenance Equipment: Operate and maintain various landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other machinery.

  • Attention to Detail: You must be detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of quality in your work.
  • Dependability: You must be reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility: You must be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Reliability: You must be reliable and able to maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency.
  • Work Term: This is a permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
