The Opportunity

Murraysmith is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Bridge Design Engineer to join our Structural/Bridge team. As a prominent engineering consulting firm, Murraysmith offers a wealth of opportunities for professional growth and development. The successful candidate will primarily contribute to various Structural/Bridge design projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Structural/Bridge analysis and calculations
  • Develop Structural/Bridge engineering plans, specifications, estimates, and other essential documentation
  • Execute conceptual engineering studies
  • Provide both preliminary engineering and final design solutions
  • Mentor and guide junior staff members
  • Prepare comprehensive reports
  • Perform cost estimation
  • Coordinate with relevant agencies
  • Oversee construction observation and contractor coordination
  • Undertake additional duties as required

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant Civil Engineering experience in Bridge Design
  • Proficiency in Steel Girder Design
  • Familiarity with BGS, PG super, RISA, Bridge Leap, and MicroStation software
  • Valid Professional Engineer Licensure
