We are seeking a skilled Bridge Engineer to join our team at Shackleton Duke Group. As a key member of our Structural Engineering for Bridge and Structures Group, you will play a crucial role in the planning, design, and construction administration of transportation infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for bridge structure replacement or rehabilitation.
- Maintain and expand our client base through business development and technical proposals.
- Oversee the technical and financial aspects of the Bridges group.
- Coordinate, coach, and mentor intermediate and junior staff.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario.
- Strong knowledge of Ontario Building Code, Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code (CAN-S), and MTO Structural Manual.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software, AutoCAD, Word, Excel, and MS Project.
- Past work with MTO on complex structure design and evaluation is an asset.
