### About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Executive Director to lead our women's shelter services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our organization, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to women and children who have experienced domestic violence.
### Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic leadership and direction to our organization, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to women and children who have experienced domestic violence.
* Develop and implement programs and services that meet the needs of our clients, including safe shelter, supportive programs, and advocacy services.
* Build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and government agencies to ensure the sustainability of our services.
* Oversee the management of our shelter, including staff supervision, budgeting, and resource allocation.
* Collaborate with our team to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote a culture of safety, equity, and inclusion.
### Requirements
* A university-level degree in social work, healthcare administration, or equivalent.
* A combination of education and experience in non-profit management, social service work, or public administration.
* Ability to manage change associated with organizational growth, transitions, and social services evolution.
* Strong understanding of intimate partner violence (IPV), gender-based violence (GBV), and the systemic factors that undermine women's safety, security, and human rights.
* Strong record of working with all levels of Government and respective Government Agencies.
* Passion for serving the survivors of the domestic violence community, creating a culture that allows for self-sufficiency and growth.
