About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at 2296746 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Sales: Scan items, calculate daily/shift payments received, and reconcile with total sales to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Maintain a high level of productivity and composure in a dynamic and fast-paced retail environment.
  • Team Player: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, provide support, and maintain a positive and inclusive team culture.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to learn and train on the job.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
