About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Techise. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers and discuss their needs, providing personalized recommendations and solutions to meet their expectations.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on product information, features, and benefits to effectively communicate with customers and make informed sales decisions.
  • Sales Performance: Meet or exceed sales targets by identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.
  • Store Operations: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including merchandise displays and inventory levels.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals, share knowledge, and provide support as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Setting: Retail business, willing to relocate, relocation costs covered by employer
  • Tasks: Operate cash register, operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems, provide advice about merchandise, assist in display of merchandise, conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce, maintain sales records for inventory control
  • Security and Safety: Bondable, criminal record check
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, manual dexterity, attention to detail, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, combination of sitting, standing, walking

  • Experience: Will train, permanent employment, 30 to 40 hours per week, English language
