Bilingual Accounts Receivable Specialist

Cowan Insurance Group is seeking a Bilingual Billing Technician to support our operations. Reporting to the Supervisor of Billing Third-Party Administration, the Bilingual Billing Technician will oversee all billing activities for their designated client portfolio. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of the internal billing system utilized for generating client invoices and collaboration with various departments to ensure billing accuracy and completeness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily accounts receivable functions, including generating customer invoices, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accounts aging within acceptable limits.
  • Examine customer accounts to identify, resolve, and rectify issues leading to account delinquencies.
  • Keep detailed and organized documentation of processes related to the assigned client portfolio.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in both English and French are essential.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in billing or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the capacity to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable interacting with clients and company personnel at various levels.
