Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Romko Residences LTD. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Personal Care: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Provide Nursing Care: Take residents' vital signs, administer medications, and provide wound care as needed.
  • Support Daily Living Activities: Assist with meal preparation, serving, and feeding, as well as maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
  • Communicate Effectively: Respond to residents' call signals, answer questions, and provide emotional support and companionship.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work closely with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure residents receive comprehensive care.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years, or equivalent experience
  • Certifications: Required certifications
Work Environment

As a Personal Support Worker at Romko Residences LTD, you will work in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure, with a focus on providing exceptional care and support to our residents. You will be required to lift, bend, and stand for long periods, as well as work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
