Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Structural Steel Fabricator to join our team at Whitemud Ironworks Limited. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and fitting steel components to form structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lay out reference points and patterns to ensure accurate assembly.
  • Assemble and fit steel plates and sections to form structures, adhering to strict quality and safety standards.
  • Operate heavy-duty metal-working machines to cut, shape, and fabricate steel components.
  • Construct patterns and templates to facilitate efficient production.
  • Install fabricated components in final products, ensuring precise fit and finish.
  • Rig, hoist, and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Specialized environmental skills and knowledge.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and welding helmet.
