Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Associate to join our dynamic team. As an Environmental Services Associate, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general housekeeping activities, including dusting, sweeping, and mopping floors, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Operate various cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, auto scrubbers, and carpet extractors, to ensure a high level of cleanliness.
  • Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.
  • Restock supplies and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Assist with special projects and events as needed.

Requirements

  • Grade XII diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous cleaning experience, preferably with microfiber systems.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Good understanding of chemical and equipment use.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong customer service skills.
