Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Engineer to join our team at Rodan Energy Solutions. As a Technical Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the Safe Storage and Decommissioning project at the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain operating procedures and departmental standards to ensure safe and efficient operation of the facility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and optimize system performance.
  • Provide technical evaluations and advice to support the commissioning, operation, and maintenance of the facilities.
  • Conduct research and development programs to improve equipment, system, or unit reliability and performance.
  • Review and recommend proposals related to assigned areas, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in engineering or related field.
  • DE Qualified as per OPG Qual would be an asset.
  • Advanced knowledge of physics, chemistry, metallurgy, mathematics, electricity, engineering, and economics.
  • Experience in the design, development, or operation of a nuclear facility or in the development, manufacture, or production of nuclear materials or components.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to provide advice and guidance, initiate developmental studies, and make recommendations.
