About the Role

Radar-Doloretegholor African food distribution Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Chief Buyer to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality products for our distribution network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential suppliers.
  • Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers, as well as identify and onboard new ones.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained to meet customer demand, while minimizing waste and excess inventory.
  • Negotiation and Contracting: Negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms, and transportation arrangements with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
  • Merchandise Distribution: Oversee the distribution of merchandise to our outlets, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Requirements Analysis: Review the requirements of our establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
  • Purchase Decision-Making: Select and purchase merchandise for resale, taking into account factors such as quality, price, and lead time.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Utilize MS Excel and MS Word to manage data, create reports, and communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Bilingual (English and Original Language).
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
