Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PACS Clinical Administrator to join our team at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical and clinical administration of our information systems and software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and maintenance for our PACS system, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
  • Collaborate with our healthcare team to develop and implement clinical workflows and processes.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and training materials for our healthcare staff.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in healthcare IT.
Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience.
  • Valid registration and membership in good standing with CMRTO.
  • Post-secondary education in healthcare or technology-related field.
  • CAHIMS or CPHIMS certification an asset.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a hospital or diagnostic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Sectra PACS, Synapse CV, Powerscribe, and Meditech.
  • Knowledge of hospital and clinic workflow, routines, processes, and documentation requirements.
  • Experience in health informatics, computer science, and/or related fields.
