Under the supervision of the Director of Athletics, the Manager of Intercollegiate Sports plays a pivotal role in steering the comprehensive athletic initiatives at Nipissing University. This position is tasked with fostering excellence, integrity, and achievement among student-athletes, ensuring a robust athletic program.

The Manager collaborates closely with students, coaches, and various staff members across the institution to oversee the design, execution, and evaluation of athletic programming. Key responsibilities include partnering with the Director of Athletics on leadership strategies and the assessment of all coaching personnel, including full-time, part-time, and volunteer coaches.

As a representative of the University, the Manager is instrumental in attracting high-caliber coaches and athletes, thereby enhancing the reputation of Nipissing's athletic teams. Additionally, the Manager will engage with external service providers and both provincial and national organizations to promote and coordinate sports initiatives across Canada.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Sports Administration, Physical Education, or a related discipline, along with a minimum of four years of progressive experience in a student-centered environment, particularly in athletics, recreation, or higher education. A clear Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check is also a prerequisite.
