About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Clerk to join our team at Luggage City. As a Purchasing Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement Management: Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business needs, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and terms to ensure optimal value for the company.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing stockouts or overstocking.
  • Order Processing: Process purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze reports on procurement activities, providing insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, proficiency in MS Office and inventory management systems.
