Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Proactive Supply Chain Solutions Inc.

Job Summary:

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing the flow of goods, services, and information from point of origin to point of consumption. This includes planning, implementing, and controlling the movement and storage of goods, supplies, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement in logistics operations
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics processes and reduce costs
  • Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
  • Manage inventory levels and track shipments to ensure accurate and timely delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve logistics-related issues and improve overall supply chain efficiency
  • Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and suppliers to negotiate rates and services
  • Monitor and analyze logistics metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in logistics or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in logistics software and systems
