Job Title: AWS Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team at Street Context. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable cloud-based systems using AWS technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud-based systems using AWS services such as SQS, Lambda, ECS, Kinesis, IAM, Secrets Manager, RDS, and DMS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing and deployment scripts using tools like Terraform, Datadog, CircleCI, and Github.
  • Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance by monitoring and optimizing cloud resources.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services and features, and apply this knowledge to improve our cloud infrastructure.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience with AWS services, including SQS, Lambda, ECS, Kinesis, IAM, Secrets Manager, RDS, and DMS.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Terraform.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Datadog and CircleCI.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Snowflake, SQL, Java, JavaScript, Wildfly, Jira, and PagerDuty.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies, specifically Scrum.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
