Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Child and Youth Worker to work with children and youth in a group home setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing daily care and support, implementing life skills workshops, and assisting with daily living activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily care and support to children and youth in a group home setting
  • Implement life skills workshops to promote independence and self-sufficiency
  • Assist with daily living activities, including food preparation and housekeeping
  • Supervise activities of clients and ensure their safety
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
  • Liaise with other social services agencies and healthcare providers
  • Assist with program evaluation and research
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field
  • Experience working with children and youth in a group home setting
  • Knowledge of child welfare and early intervention principles
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
