Job Summary

United Protective Flooring Inc is seeking a skilled Flooring Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our installation crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality flooring installations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Installation Tasks
    • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered to ensure accurate installation
    • Prepare detailed flooring plans and schedules to meet client needs
  • Installation and Repair
    • Measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings with precision and attention to detail
    • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings to maintain a high level of quality
  • Preparation and Testing
    • Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations to ensure a successful outcome
    • Prepare floors for installations by removing existing coverings and contaminants
  • Transportation and Safety
    • Utilize company-provided vehicles for transportation to and from job sites
    • Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, and hand-eye coordination
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
    • At least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the field
  • Work Environment
    • Work in environments with odors and dust
