About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Flooring Installation Specialist to join our team at United Protective Flooring Inc. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality flooring installations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Installation Preparation
    • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered to ensure accurate installation
    • Prepare detailed flooring plans and scheduling to meet client needs
  • Installation and Repair
    • Measure, cut, and install resilient floor coverings with precision and attention to detail
    • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings to ensure a seamless finish
  • Pre-Installation Testing
    • Conduct moisture, pH, temperature, and other tests prior to flooring installations to ensure a successful outcome
  • Site Preparation
    • Prepare floors for installations by removing existing floor coverings and contaminants
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the field
  • Work Environment
    • Ability to work in environments with odours and dust
  • Physical Demands
    • Physically demanding role requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, and hand-eye coordination
