About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team at Weld O Canada Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and fabricating metal structures to meet our high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Laying Out and Assembling: Use precision tools and techniques to lay out reference points and patterns, and assemble and fit plates and sections to form structures.
  • Welding and Joining: Weld or bolt sections together to create strong and durable metal structures.
  • Pattern Making and Template Creation: Construct patterns and templates to ensure accurate and efficient fabrication.
  • Installation and Rigging: Install fabricated components in final products and rig, hoist, and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in metal fabrication.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Metal Fabricator Trade Certification.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Hand-eye co-ordination, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Work Environment

Our team works in a variety of locations, and you will be required to work in a fast-paced production environment with a focus on quality and safety.
