About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Branch Manager to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our branch management team, you will be responsible for empowering and supporting a team of Financial Advisors to deliver exceptional service to our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Motivate and coach employees to identify opportunities to enhance members' financial well-being
  • Pursue new business opportunities proactively
  • Monitor and ensure financial targets are met or exceeded for the branch
  • Promote referrals to Wealth Management, Business Banking, and third-party providers
  • Adhere to policies, procedures, and loss prevention guidelines to mitigate risk of loss
  • Provide support, guidance, and training to employees as needed to ensure performance improvement and cohesive teamwork
  • Prepare accurate and complete documentation, process account changes, and handle member inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need at least 5 years of retail banking experience, including experience as a Financial Advisor and a solid understanding of lending and credit principles.

While not required, the following education/certificates are valuable assets:

  • Post-secondary education in Finance (or related studies)
  • Investment Funds in Canada Course & License (IFIC)
  • Personal Financial Service Advice (PFSA)
  • Financial Planning I (FP1)
