Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Heavy Duty Cleaner to join our team at 0482597 B.C. Ltd. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs; operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and debris; empty trash cans and other waste containers; wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
  • Facilities Support: Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment; move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies; clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Personal Qualities: Work with minimal supervision; demonstrate flexibility, initiative, judgement, organization, and reliability.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
