About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Training and Development Manager to oversee training requirements in our Distribution Centers. This role involves developing new warehouse employees to meet expectations efficiently and safely. You will also provide backup coverage for other Supervisors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an Operational Training Program to enhance employee performance and retention
- Provide supervision to a team of Training Supervisors and coordinate their efforts
- Recommend and implement Training and Retention initiatives to improve employee engagement and productivity
- Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to inform training strategies and improve retention rates
- Direct warehouse operations and assess performance management to ensure alignment with company goals
- Allocate equipment effectively and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Participate in organizational culture initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive work environment
Requirements:
- Flexible availability for shifts and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- 1-3 years of experience in training and supervisory roles, preferably in a warehouse or distribution setting
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels
- Proficiency in computer systems and ability to analyze data to inform training decisions
