Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to oversee the management of our inventory, including receiving, storing, and shipping products. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of lean manufacturing practices and principles, as well as experience in managing and leading a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and implement inventory control procedures to maintain accuracy and ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Oversee and participate in physical inventory counts and reconciliation processes.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing Team to ensure optimal inventory levels and timely order fulfillment.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, safety, and overall operations of inventory.
  • Lead and manage a team of warehouse and delivery staff to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent in Materials Management or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a Materials Leader.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing practices and principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think and respond quickly.
  • Proven track record of personal responsibility and accountability.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a combination of office and warehouse settings. The ability to lift 25 pounds at a time is required, and overtime may be necessary.
