Key Responsibilities:- Hire and Train Cleaning Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our facilities to identify areas that require cleaning or maintenance, and ensure that all necessary work is completed in a timely manner.
- Prepare Budgets and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets for cleaning supplies and services, and prepare cost estimates for future cleaning projects.
- Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as maintenance and facilities management, to ensure that cleaning operations are aligned with overall business objectives.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for cleaning staff to ensure that all areas of the facility are cleaned regularly.
- Mentorship Programs: Develop and implement mentorship programs to support the career development of employees from diverse backgrounds, including persons with disabilities, newcomers, refugees, youth, veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
