About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Geomaterials Engineer to join our team at EXP. As a Geomaterials Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting geotechnical engineering investigations and reporting, managing small to medium-sized projects, and coordinating with clients and contractors to provide excellent service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct geotechnical engineering investigations and reporting
  • Manage small to medium-sized projects, including cost monitoring, schedule control, and communications with clients
  • Coordinate with clients and contractors to provide excellent service
  • Develop relationships with existing and future client contacts, attend meetings, and support Business Development initiatives
  • Prepare geotechnical reports and analyze geotechnical data
  • Coordinate subcontractors to execute assigned projects
  • Coordinate on designs with other engineering disciplines for multi-disciplinary projects
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil or geological/geotechnical engineering
  • Project management experience with desire to take on management position in the future
  • Registration as professional engineer with EGBC
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Team player with proven ability to work independently or as a member of project teams
  • Excellent organizing, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong computer skills using word processing, spreadsheet, and graphics applications
