Drafter

**Are you a team player with a positive attitude? GeoWest Engineering Ltd., a professional engineering consultant providing geotechnical and environmental services, is seeking a Draftsperson to join their team in their Abbotsford and/or Coquitlam, BC office.**
- _Proficient in AutoCAD._
- _Civil Engineering educational background, preferably with a focus on Geotechnical and Environmental Services. Comparable work experience will be considered in lieu of education._
- _Experienced with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)._
- _Strong attention to detail._
- _The ability to multi-task and assist Engineers, Technologists and Administrative Staff on a daily basis._
- _Good organizational skills._
- _Positive attitude and ability to work co-operatively with all staff._
- _Minimum 1 year of related experience is preferred._

Responsibilities include:

- _Preparation of engineering drawings for both geotechnical and environmental projects._
- _Preparation of drawings for permits._
- _Organizing files._
- _Updating company data library._

Pay: $21.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
