POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Project Manager will have a comprehensive understanding of the design and construction processes, overseeing projects from conception to completion. This role emphasizes the importance of client relationship management and collaboration with teams during contracting, construction, and tendering phases. Effective organization and goal-setting will be crucial to success in this position, as you will manage both large and small-scale developments across Western Canada. There is potential for advancement into senior leadership roles, making strong leadership capabilities essential.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in North America
  • Registered Architect, AIBC or eligibility for registration preferred
  • PMP and LEED certifications are advantageous
  • Proven experience managing substantial projects from start to finish, with a solid grasp of contracting and construction phases
  • Technical proficiency to review and annotate drawings as needed
  • Ability to lead a team effectively while executing project tasks
  • Strong contract administration skills
  • Experience collaborating with engineers, architects, and technologists to adhere to project schedules
  • Familiarity with project financials and budgeting
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with wood-frame construction on multi-family projects is essential
