We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Designer to join our team at WA Architects Ltd. in Vancouver. As a Senior Designer, you will play a key role in leading the design process for a variety of project types, including high-rises, townhomes, mixed-use residential, and multi-family residential.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the design process for projects, including schematic design and design development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and contractors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Contribute to the development of innovative and sustainable design solutions.
- Minimum 8 years' relevant architectural and master planning design experience in the Canadian Architectural Industry (BC experience preferred).
- Graduate of a certified Building Technology or Architectural program in a professionally recognized institution.
- Proven ability to take the lead in design development and project management.
- Advanced skills in AutoCAD and Sketchup, with working knowledge of Revit.
- In-depth knowledge of the BC Building Code Part 3, Part 9, and ASHRAE 90.1.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- A dynamic and collaborative work environment.

- A competitive salary range of $105,000-$130,000, depending on experience.
