The Enrollment Services Coordinator plays a vital role in providing administrative and clerical assistance to the Enrollment Services Office. Key responsibilities encompass maintaining and organizing records, processing financial transactions such as student payments and refunds, and addressing student inquiries effectively.
Supervision Structure:This position is overseen by the Director of Enrollment Services, and it is essential for the incumbent to adhere to the policies set forth by the University and the Office.
Primary Duties:- Manage inquiries both in-person and via telephone while executing general office administrative functions
- Organize and maintain student and departmental records in both electronic and physical formats
- Facilitate the issuance of identification cards for students, faculty, and staff
- Update and maintain student records across various systems
- Assist students with the online registration process
- Handle the financial operations of the office, including billing and processing refunds
- Oversee the document request procedures
- Contribute to the Commencement Planning Committee
- Prepare reports and ensure the accuracy of documents through proofreading
The role may involve training new student workers and interns. A solid understanding of Enrollment Services policies is necessary, along with the ability to perform calculations and draft various types of documents.
Required Qualifications:- High School diploma or GED is mandatory
- A minimum of two years of experience in clerical office work
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in tasks
- Basic skills in accounting and bookkeeping
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and customer service abilities
- Willingness to work non-standard hours when necessary
- Eligibility to work in Canada is required
- A background check may be part of the hiring process
Availability for a work schedule of 35 hours per week.
