Hotel Front Desk Associate

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team at A Banff Boutique Inn. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, handling room reservations, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
Key Responsibilities:- Register arriving guests and assign rooms
- Take, cancel, and change room reservations
- Provide information on hotel facilities and services
- Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
- Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments
- Follow emergency and safety procedures
- Clerical duties (i.e., faxing, filing, photocopying)
- Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
- Assist clients/guests with special needs
- Contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Provide customer service
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Will train
- or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
