Job Summary

The Ontario Regional Sales Manager is a key leadership position responsible for leading a team of sales engineers within a sales region. This role requires a strong leader who can coach and mentor their team to achieve exceptional sales results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead with effective communication and engagement to ensure the team understands the company's goals and expectations.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop new strategic accounts and motivate sales engineers to reach sales targets.
  • Participate in joint sales calls to stimulate customer growth and mentor sales engineers.
  • Assign sales territories and specific accounts to sales engineers within the branch.
  • Support the National Sales Manager with initiatives and projects within the sales region.

Requirements

  • Five plus years of proven sales success working directly with customers in the industrial automation market.
  • Experience working with remote sales and leadership teams.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience of verifiable, proven coaching success as a Sales Manager growing direct report sales success and career development.
  • Success winning large projects at manufacturing plants and industrial machine builders.
  • Excellent communication, organizational coaching and presentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of Sales Force or similar CRM.
  • Knowledge and proficiency with technology to credibly engage with all levels of an organization from engineers to the Engineering Director or CEO.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 20% of time within region and nationally at times.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business or related discipline.
