Commercial Mortgage Administrator

About the Role:
CMLS Financial, a leading commercial lender in Canada, is seeking a Commercial Mortgage Administrator to join our team. As a Commercial Mortgage Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in comprehending the full life cycle of a mortgage portfolio. Your responsibilities will include overseeing end-to-end Commercial Servicing administration, encompassing post-funding transactions, addressing borrower, investor, CMHC, and other client inquiries, and maintaining vital interactions with both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and track financial and property data for loan reviews
- Aid in the administration of construction advances
- Conduct mortgage underwriting and annual operating statement analysis
- Collaborate with borrower clients to secure requisite documentation and elucidations for operating statement discrepancies
- Evaluate property inspection reports
- Produce reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to commercial loan securitization endeavors
Requirements:
- Results-driven with strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Proficient in analytical and numerical skills
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office user
- Demonstrates professionalism, judgment, and integrity
- Passion for real estate lending business
- Self-motivated, process-oriented, and possesses strong administration and operation skills
- Ownership and accountability for work, ability to meet tight deadlines, and handle sensitive or confidential information with discretion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French (preferred)
- Undergraduate degree or nearing completion in Real Estate, Business Administration, Math, Accounting, Insurance, or Economics
- Experience in the banking, credit union, or financial services industry is an asset
