About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Window and Door Installation Specialist to join our team at A&L Construction Services. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful installation of aluminum windows and doors at various construction and renovation sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Layout and Installation Planning: Determine the most efficient layout and installation procedures for aluminum windows and doors, taking into account site-specific requirements and constraints.
  • Supply Chain Management: Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing waste.
  • Tool Operation and Maintenance: Utilize hand and power tools to perform installation tasks, maintaining a high level of proficiency and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Scaffolding and Platform Installation: Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms to ensure safe access to installation sites.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand site-specific requirements and installation procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Work Environment: Outdoors, with frequent exposure to fast-paced and physically demanding conditions.
  • Work Setting: Construction, renovation, and installation sites, with varying locations and tasks.
  • Area of Specialization: Aluminum windows and doors, with a focus on installation and maintenance.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding tasks, and a high level of accuracy and organization required.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, organized, and a team player, with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
