About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with extensive experience in AWS cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing and automating deployment processes, working with a variety of frontend and backend frameworks and languages, and handling both monolithic and micro-service based architectures. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation, reliability, and scalability of our applications.
Key Outcomes for this Role:
- Complete an initial assessment and action plan, identifying immediate areas for improvements and potential bottlenecks.
- Take ownership of all deployment pipelines from the existing developers.
- Work with engineers to develop a stable, efficient way to make rapid deployments frequently across many different backend and frontend services.
- In partnership with QA, establish and action on a CI/CD plan across our various environments.
- Automate provisioning and management of resources in cloud environments, implementing infrastructure as code where possible.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure to support our applications and services.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cloud technologies and best practices.
A Typical Hiring Range for this Position is $110,000 - $130,000 CAD per year with the final salary offer based on your qualifications, job-related skills, and relevant experience.
