We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at GoDaddy. As a key member of our Infrastructure Engineering team, you will play a critical role in building, running, and supporting our private and public cloud infrastructure using OpenStack.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and services.
  • Develop and maintain automation tools using Ansible, Puppet, or other automation frameworks.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and provide expert-level support for cloud infrastructure.
  • Contribute to the development of new features and enhancements to our cloud platform.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide 24/7 support for critical issues.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, with a focus on OpenStack.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including scalability, availability, and security.
  • Experience with automation tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Proficiency in Linux and Python programming languages.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance regulations.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus and ELK.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
