POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Chief Administrative Officer for Ontario will oversee the administrative division at Niagara University in Canada. Reporting directly to the President of the University, this executive will be instrumental in establishing and realizing institutional objectives, nurturing collaborations, and elevating the university's standing. The preferred candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership capabilities and a dedication to fostering diversity and inclusion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Formulate and execute a strategic plan for institutional advancement
- Oversee budgeting and financial management processes
- Lead initiatives for fundraising and grant procurement
- Enhance strategies for attracting both domestic and international students
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards
- Fortify connections with faculty, alumni, benefactors, and the local community
- Collaborate with academic leaders on program development and evaluations
- Promote initiatives aimed at advancing equity and inclusion
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctoral degree from an accredited institution
- Proven experience in leadership roles within higher education
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong commitment to diversity and inclusion
- Capability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders
- Awareness of global educational trends
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel as required
- Valid driver's license for Ontario
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position may involve various physical activities such as sitting, standing, bending, and lifting. It necessitates advanced computer and data management skills. Travel may be required.
